Digital Asset Management (DAM)

The Digital Asset Management (DAM) system is the foundation of VNTANA’s platform, designed specifically for the unique challenges of 3D content. This system enables organizations to efficiently store, organize, find and publish their 3D assets while maintaining version control and supporting team collaboration. By centralizing 3D asset management, companies can significantly reduce the time spent searching for and managing files while ensuring consistent access across teams.

Organization and Structure

VNTANA’s organizational framework centers on Workspaces and Projects, providing a flexible hierarchy for asset management. These structures allow companies to create logical divisions of content while maintaining precise control over access and publishing states for high security.

Workspaces – secure folders where content can be stored and different role-based access can be given.

Asset Management Tools

VNTANA offers powerful tools for managing assets at scale, from comprehensive metadata management to bulk operations that save time when working with multiple assets. These tools are designed to handle the unique challenges of 3D asset management, but we also have the ability to store and manage 2D images, video files and more while maintaining efficiency and organization.

Metadata Management

This can be done manually or many clients connect to their PLM or ERP via our API to automatically pull in product information to tags and attributes. VNTANA also has the ability to upload a CSV file with all the product information to automatically store as custom attributes and tags.

Asset Cloning

• Assets can be cloned (copied) to their current workspace or different workspaces

Variant Groups

Variant Groups allow you to link multiple 3D models together so they can be viewed in the same 3D web-viewer. Users can click on different thumbnail images at the bottom of the 3D viewer and a different model will load (example).
