Senior Unity 3D Developer w/ Modeling/Animation Experience – Los Angeles, CA

We are looking for an experienced Unity3D app developer with Unity and C# experience that not only wants to write code, but also wants to build great experiences. The candidate should be able to take on multiple responsibilities and deliver within short timelines. This role also involves 3D modeling, rigging and animation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Unity applications for holographic displays(C#).
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest Unity SDK developments.
  • Work with other Unity and back-end developers as one team on multiple projects.
  • Improve the day to day workflows and contribute into best practices to componentize the applications.
  • Take on any 3D model and prep it for Unity. This can also involve sometimes rigging and animating a model.
  • Work hard, play hard.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years Unity development experience.
  • Minimum 2 years Kinect development.
  • Experience with Augmented Reality.
  • Knowledge of the current Unity platform, including the latest UI system.
  • Experience starting projects from scratch or jumping into an existing architecture.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with shaders and image processing.
  • Minimum 3 years of 3D Modeling/Rigging/Optimization.

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for performing site visits, bidding jobs and ensuring effective planning leading up to and throughout events. This role will lead or support the operations functions, account managers and all necessary staff to plan and coordinate a wide range of client events.

Experience Required:

  • Two to five years related experience and/or training related to strong event/venue skills and knowledge of facility operations processes.
  • Related experience in providing venue and event services.
  • Ability to manage multiple large venues.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Knowledge of costing and pricing methodology; skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.
  • Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of rigging, electrical, lighting, & video.
  • Strong customer development and relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; encourages new innovative solutions when appropriate.

This includes working with 3D models of logos, products and characters; creating sizzle reels of events; creating demo reels of holographic content; as well as editing content shot by VNTANA. Along with motion content, the position also requires producing photo illustrations for presentations, proposals and promotional material.

Requirements:

  • Expert at Photoshop and knowledge of the whole Adobe Suite
  • Experience in Maya, Cinema4D, and/or 3DMax in order to modify, edit and render 3D models
  • Experience with After Effects , Davinci Resolve, Avid, Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro
  • Strong understanding of Video formats and compression
  • Experience shooting video, with lighting knowledge is a plus
